Big Boost for EV Buyers: Haryana Brings Back Subsidy

In a move to encourage the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs), the Haryana Government has decided to reinstate subsidies for EVs priced under ₹40 lakh. This policy will support eco-friendly transportation and help reduce pollution in the state.
Which EVs Are Eligible?
Only electric vehicles with ex-showroom prices below ₹40 lakh will qualify. Some popular eligible models include:
- Tata Nexon EV
- Mahindra XUV400
- MG ZS EV
- BYD Atto 3
- Hyundai Kona EV
- And other mid-range electric cars
Eligibility Criteria:
- The EV should be registered in Haryana
- The owner must be a Haryana resident
- The car’s ex-showroom price must be under ₹40 lakh
- Only one subsidy per household/family is allowed
How Much Subsidy Can You Expect?
While the exact subsidy amount will be announced soon, it is expected to be between ₹1.5 lakh to ₹3 lakh, depending on the model and battery capacity.
